This study aims to determine the nature of links between income inequality and inclusive growth in the Moroccan context. To do so, we started by literature review with the most recent studies, then we conducted an empirical analysis on Morocco over the period 1990-2020, then we established the link between the two variables in subperiods which are: 1990 to 2006 and 2007 to 2020. To establish the link between the variables in the overall period, stationarity and cointegration tests were used; Johansen cointegration test shows that there is evidence on the long-run relationship between the variables. Using Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), the analysis results show that there is a negative relationship between income inequality and economic growth. Granger Causality test shows that there is no causality between the two variables. In the sub-periods, we used a multiple linear regression model to establish the link between the variables.
